With a large library of games already in its library, it is difficult to imagine how Nintendo will surpass itself with Switch games in 2022. Until you look at the list of upcoming games with much-hyped sequels and series restarts, and you realize that the console is looking for a great version for a year.

So far, we have seen some changes to the combat system and how to capture the Pokémon using the original Pokémon Ball. Nonetheless, we are very happy to see what other innovations Game Freak will bring when it releases "Pokemon Legends: Arceus" on January 28.

With the great success of the first game, it’s no surprise that the currently unnamed sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won the most anticipated Nintendo Game Award at this year’s E3. Since then, with every hint that Nintendo has given up, the hype of this follow-up has gained traction, and it may just be one of the most anticipated games on all platforms.

This year, we learned that the sequel will not only take place in the same Hailaru that we gradually loved in the original game, but will also expand to the vast skyline of the region. Link, or whoever the protagonist of the game is, will drive their glider through new heights and challenge Link in Skyward Sword as the most capable airborne adventurer in Zelda's timeline.

We can't wait to land in Hailar again to see which evil lurking threatens this land this time. There is still no exact release date, but we expect that we will glide again sometime in 2022 and become one of the most popular Switch games.

Going back to another playful experience of the shooting game genre again, Splatoon 3 promises to provide a large number of inkjet weapons and blank canvas positions for creating chaos. Splatoon's popular online mode is also back, and Inklings and Octolings will fight in Turf War. With new items and unprecedented ink bows, online battles will definitely become more colorful, and enthusiastic players can't wait.

This is also a brand new storyline, "Return of Mammals", in which Splatoon's human-shaped squid must fight the revival of mammals in their world. However, unlike the previous two Splatoon games, the most recent game will be played in Splatsville, which has not been visited before, outside of Inkopolis. With all this, Nintendo's latest franchise is expected to maintain momentum when it is released sometime in 2022.

We were all surprised when Nintendo's biggest name teamed up with Rabbids for a tactical RPG adventure. When it becomes a pleasant and refreshing style change, it makes everything sweeter and more pleasantly surprised. Ubisoft hopes to do better in this sequel, losing the rigid movement system in the first game and adopting a smoother maneuvering method in battle.

Drawing inspiration from past Mario games, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope leaves the mushroom kingdom to a vast space. We will even see the return of Mario Galaxy's lovely Lumas, combining the game's nominal mad rabbits to create Sparks, despite their appearance and the ability to completely change the universe. Mario and his friends must use the power of the spark before it falls into the hands of evil.

Another game for RPG fans, Triangle Strategy, is Square Enix's latest tactical work. Therefore, naturally, we look forward to the big event of this turn-based tactical game from the developers who delivered Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler in recent years.

The "HD-2D" graphic style continues the style of Octopath Traveler. Square Enix's vision is to inject new vitality into nostalgic design. Admittedly, this is not the only Square Enix feature we expect from this game. Like every new trailer, the game world and narrative seem to provide the depth and complexity of the developer's patents.

Kirby is one of the few Nintendo characters that has no mature 3D platform adventure, so fans of Little Pink Survivor are fully prepared for this title. With the big roll of the Sega superstar mascot, Sonic's revival may finally come true. Recently announced and relatively unexpected, Sonic Frontiers looks like a step in a new direction for the famous blue hedgehog, a move that does not always pay off for Team Sonic.

However, with Sonic Adventure director Takashi Iizuka returning to the helm, fans are optimistic that this Sonic game may free the series from the fear since the slander period following the release of "Sonic the Hedgehog" in 2006. We only saw a little gameplay of the third game in the series, but it looks like our heroine has returned to the planetary level, with all her old and new powers. The game was originally planned to be released in December 2021, but was recently postponed to the spring of 2022. This means that it hasn't been that long until you can develop a strategy on land, air, and sea, and use an online multiplayer game for the first time in Advance Wars.
